Lower Mainland Fastball League Finals

Game 1
Lomas - 4
Fleetwood - 1
WP - Mayson
LP - Anderson

Game 2
Lomas - 8
Fleetwood - 1
WP - Mayson
LP - Peck

Congratulations to the Lomas, 2015 Lower Mainland Fastball League Champions.

Lomas started the playoffs as the 7th place team needing to beat the 6th place team (Canadians) to advance to play the Giants. Knocked off the Giants in two games, and then the Stealers in two games to advance to the finals. Mayson compiled a record of 7-0 in the playoffs while giving up 9 runs over that span.

For the Marlins, they started off the playoffs by handling the Rebels in two games before losing to the Mariners in game 1 of the semi finals. They rebounded to take a double header from the Mariners to advance to the final where they ran into the top pitching of Mayson. Congrats to the Marlins

That is a wrap on the Lower Mainland Fastball League for 2015. Would like to thank the Executive and organizers for another great year. Special thanks to the blue crew, like them or lump them, without them there is no game. Special thanks to the international players that participated in the league this year. It is always fun to share this game with like minded people. Safe travels home, hope to see you in the future at a ballpark somewhere.

Finally good luck to all of those players that still have tournaments left to compete in.

Cheers!
